Bill Dempsey is a Stage 4 Metastatic Melanoma survivor and motivational speaker who shares his powerful journey through treatment at Dana-Farber. In the fall of 2021, Bill developed a persistent cough that worsened into trouble breathing. X-ray and PET scans revealed Bill had two masses in his chest and a brain tumor. At the time, Bill was living in Virginia, he made appointments in his hometown of Boston. That was the start of a 4 year battle that was challenging both mentally and physically.
Deciding to move up to Boston from Virginia meant that he would see his wife and three daughters when it worked. Life doesn’t stop when you are fighting Cancer. For you or your family.
